This picture was taken when Uman last album,“You are here” was released on Six degrees records (USA).
Co-founder of the band Uman, singing is a second nature for her. Her soprano voice can also be found on some post-Uman tracks. Member of the band "Chakra zé Tantra".
This percussionist contributed substantially to Uman’s albums with his darboukas, drums and numerous instruments. He teaches percussion near Paris.
This jazzman played bugle and trumpet on a few of Uman’s pieces.
The bass clarinet, the oboe, the saxophones or the flutes hold no secrets for him. Renowned multi-instrumentalist, he is as comfortable with contemporary music than he is with jazz. Founder of the EDIM jazz school.
Troubadour of Occitanian culture, he played the vielle and the oud on several tracks available on this website.
This guitarist influenced by rock fusion contributed to the “Toward 6 o’clock” project, with his powerful and unanswerable rhythms and at some occasions, his solos. Member of the band “L’effé Nix”.
He shares with Didier JEAN his taste for jazz music… and for colorful shirts ! He brings his full-on syncopated riffs and fusion groove to the“Toward 6 o’clock” project. Member of the band “L’effé Nix”.
He plays the vibraphone and classical as well as African drums with sensitivity. He teaches percussion at the music conservatories of Tulle and Brive (France, 19). Member of the band "Mental Medication".
He shares with Didier JEAN a passion for synthesizers and electronic music. He played some very spacey piano solos for the project “Toward 6 o’clock”. Member of the band “L’effé Nix”.
In his recording studio, behind his master keyboard, he loves to toy around with the samples he recorded with Logic audio. He creates his own melodies with his voice or his synthesizer, then asks his other musician friends to perform them.
Violinist, singer and multi-instrumentalist, she has several CDs and audio-books to her name. Her work is aimed at grown-ups as well as children, in particular with her contribution to Utopique publishing’s audiobooks.
